Alpine Demonstrator

Where did you grow up?

Normanhurst, in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney. Newport Beach NSW is now my home between seasons.

Where do you work?

I work in Falls Creek, Victoria and Whistler, Canada.

What is your connection to the snow?

As a relatively late starter, I really fell in love with skiing on a family ski trip when I was at university. It was challenging, exhilarating and a way to explore the mountains. Now for me, skiing represents the perfect combination of structure and freedom, and has opened many doors in my alpine career.

What was your best snow experience?

It’s a toss up between learning to ski powder on my Level 1 course in Falls Creek 2010, and the day I was selected to be part of the APSI examining team in 2014. Both experiences made me feel like I had a long road yet to travel, but the prospect of all of the things to be learned along the way was exciting and left me wanting more.
