Paul Lorenz - Head Coach

I started teaching skiing at Thredbo In 2002 and over the last 20 years, I have worked in Austria, Canada, USA, China and Japan. I became a Trainer with the APSI in 2007, and a member of the Alpine Technical Committee in 2011. In March 2022, I took on the role of APSI General Manger and am really enjoying contributing to the organisation that has given me so much.

As head coach of the APSI National Team, I plan to support the coaches and team members in developing the organisation’s technical approach, teaching methods, processes and training culture. Attending Interski will allow us to gather valuable information to assist in developing these areas.

I also look forward to working with the the APSI National Team to develop new materials such as manuals, electronic learning and other resources to support APSI products and assist members in their training.
